Tasman Consulting Ltd provides IT consulting and software development services.

Our consulting is primarily focused on the general move towards a web enabled distributed environment, and solving the complex legacy issues that appear during that move. Tasman Consulting Ltd provided the original technology, and was a fundamental factor in the creation of thePacific.net, a broadband provider for the top of the South Island, and winner of the government PROBE broadband project for the region.

Our software development is focused on Java and related technologies, especially web services and J2EE applications. Our clients include major corporates in the goverment, banking and electricity sectors.

We make extensive use of Linux and Open Source Software, and have considerable experience in deploying and managing such environments.
